New OC Season 4 Trailer Shows…

Ryan doing some cage fighting. I guess all the rumors were true that he losses his mind completely and goes to Mexico to become a guesome cage fighter or on the other hand he is trying to take some anger out because he feels like Marissas death is in some sort of way his fault. This kind of storyline for Ryan does not surprise me because Fox has to do something in order to grab your attention and what better way to do it then some good ole fashion fighting. the ONLY WAY the show can be saved is if Josh Schwartz steps back in and writes the majority of the episodes. As the seasons go on, he writes less and less. He was barley around in season 3 and that season speaks for itself. Hiring a bunch of staff writers to just waltz in and write for a show they know nothing about is what is killing it because they have no understanding of how to take the show back to its roots

If someone would have told me that the oc would have become like this 3 years ago, i would have called that person crazy. how is this show gonna survive another season, much less the first episode. The first 2 seasons were great. If it’s true that josh schwartzman wrote most of the episodes in those 2 seasons, this show need him back cause season 3 was crap and the new season looks even worse! Cage Fighting?
Simply ridiculous. The only way to save this show is to have Josh write more episodes,season one rocked because of him.
This season doesn’t look very good. It’s a shame because it used to be an interesting show, now they’ve taken it to far.

season 3 was awful with recycled plots and dialogue (oliver and johnny) which got old way too fast….im glad they killed marissa off because you could only keep the “core four” together for so long without it becoming cheesy (they all dated other people but it all came back to seth/summer and ryan/marissa which just screams “this will keep those 2 occupied for 4 episodes”)
season 3 was a big enough disappointment that i dont know if ill even bother with season 4…either way they better step it up a lot to keep viewers

The show is killer but its going down hill, Josh needed to write more now there in a downward spiral and cant go newhere else, the series of events have kinda left them no where to go. they need to NOT kill Marissa a) shes hot b) shes part of the orig. 4 if shes dead ill watch till ryan kicks volchok’s ass then its over, killing her lost a lot of viewers. I think that without Marissa and Josh Schwartz the show won’t last for long because without the gang, Ryan, Seth, Summer and Marissa it won’t be the same.
Okay, no lets not bring back Marissa, lets bring more life into the three that are left. Marissa brought the show down and I think that it will be alot better without her. We are going to see the real Ryan. Not one that has to bow to Marissa. As far as Seth and Summer I think that they need to be more interesting to bring more to the show. I love the OC and all, but i dont think it is gunna be as good! The should have never killed off Marissa, should have just put her in a coma or something, that would have made ppl sit on the edge of their chair to see when she will wake up! All the good drama came from Ryan and Marissa fighting, it just wont be the same with out all 4 MAIN characters i dunno, I just dont think it is gunna be as good. Too bad! the show will be lucky if they have a season 5!!!!
I started watching this show later, but quickly fell in love with it (watched season 1 when it came out on DVD). The second season was enjoyable, the third had moments, but that is about it. Does it bother anyone else that Kaitlin was in grade 5 in the first season and now is like the same age as her (much) older sister and her friends??? I mean c’mon, you don’t go from being 10 and in grade 5 to being like 16 and in who knows what grade in the same amount of time that your older sister and her friends go through like 2 years of high school. I don’t think that focusing the show on Kaitlin and her friends will bring any new viewers to watch the show or keep the old ones… If you want to do that, make it a spin off show and keep the original 4 (or now 3 if need be) the focus of The OC

Ok… so a lot of things i read here i agree with and others i dont. first killing marissas..good or bad? well really when you stop and think about it, yes its going to change the story, but a lot of us here agree the 3rd season, not so great. the hole ryan and marissa thing getting old, and fast. maybe a better angle would have been having jimmy back for her graduation starting a little drama there with him and julie, then sending her off with him to do the boat thing. but who knows who’s idea it really was for her to leave the show??? second if the orginal writer is back then this season will kick some serious ass, last years writers..well first graders could write a better story, but its not like the network and writers dont know the show is in trouble and they need to do something about it. the cage idea, well how many times have you heard people say the day after the show man why didnt chino kick that guys ass, well here it is, all the blood and violence anyone has ever wanted from infamous ryan atwood. now whatever is done with seth and summer well they MUST do it together, those two must never break up for good, no way cant happen. anyway i could go on for days, but the bottom line is i have faith that the writers and the network knows they need to pick shit up and get this show back to where we all know it can and should be. hang in there guys i have a good feeling about this season.

Hey I don’t know how good seeason 4 is gonna but one thing I am sure about Marissa left the show only because she wanted to, they would never make her leave the show especially because she was one of the characters who really kept O.C going. So I guess it must be a goodbye for good. Seems that Misca wants to move on to the big screen, such a pity turining your back on your roots…

I am really excited for the new season to start. I own season 1 and 2 also. I missed quite a bit of season three but some how was always able to catch up. It’s just sad though that Marissa is gone. It’s sad but true, I cryed the last episode. What can you do though? LOL. I wonder what we are in for next. The OC I have noticed always has a turn to it. It’s just like living every day life!! The 1st season was AMAZING! second season beginning was lame but the last episodes were really good. third season..okay …i love it no matter what… but a lot of the time the only thing keeping me interested was the chance of marissa and ryan getting back together. that trailor looked nothing like my favourite…. a non existing most important character(marissa) cage fighting and sluts and CHRIS BROWN! it seriously has to be a joke

Just finished watching Series 3. What they needed to do was finish it there. With a slight rewriting of Series 3 they could have wrapped the show up very satisfactorily: Sandy finally returning to the job he loves, Kirsten finally said goodbye to alcohol, Marissa deciding to travel with Jimmy, and Ryan finally realising his dream of becoming an architect, and Seth having his comic book. As the series lies now, there are too many problems to resolve, seeing the previews I am seriously pissed, way to fuck up my favourite show. Oh and who gives a fuck about Kaitlin Cooper?
It is a tv show. I mean I love the OC and I have been watching since the beginning and I think something diffrent is good. You can only have so many scandals before it gets boring, I think Marissa being gone is going to be better. She always drove me nuts with not being able to make a stupid decision. Yes she will always be Ryans true love but he can always find someone else. I like Kaitlin I think she is good for the show. It will spice things up and make it diffrent.

The first time I’ve seen the OC, I really loved the song, u know the soundtrack, and in the images I saw Jimmy Cooper giving Marissa away as a bride. So why didn’t we say that? Or was I dreaming? Thx for giving me an answer xxx
wow…….. this season doesnt look so good. honestly you can just kill of a main character and excpect the show to be ass good….. the show is going to be so pointles. even though i am a major fan,….. i dont want ot see ryan fighting ppl for the whole season. they are going to loose a lot of viewers because it will become prdictable. and kaitlan cooper is supposed to be the new marrisa > that is a really stupid idea shes supposed to be liek 5 years youger thatn them. they should have made it the season finale when marissa was killed off. the show would have been so much better if they kept her alive but she just left for the year on that boat job with her father………. then the story could have gone on and she would have only had to make a few appearences.. then the season finale could have been like a few years in the future where they coincidentally meet and fall in love again…….

I dont know, it really upsets me. For Series 4 they are taking the show in such a depressing direction, I mean as talib said, no one wants to see Ryan fighting in Mexico for a whole season. For me perfect OC viewing was Seth Ryan Kirsten and Sandy living happily together. That is why they should have ended it after series 3. They can never ever go back to classic OC episodes now. They have ruined by favourite show ever.

The thing people want to see is something that they can connect with or relates to them that is why this show has become so popular. The relationship Marissa and Ryan had was the relationship most girls want and what captured them when they watched it and what kept them watching the show when they broke up. Seth and Summer were always just the relationship on the side that everyone thought was cute and watever but something like that doesn’t keep the show alive. Do you think people are gonna keep watching Kaitlyn Cooper rule harbor, the Marissa wannabee who cant act and thinks shes hot but is really just a slut……Nope. And Ryan cage fighting in Mexico how long do you think that is going to stay interesting, is every eposide gonna be a new fight or what you honestly cant think you can make a season out of that. With Ryan and kaityln being the new stars of the Oc this show isn’t gonna get nearly as many ratings as the first and second and even third seasons. I know that everyone that makes the show thinks marissa doesn’t have anything left to do but anything is better than killing her off of it. People watch that show just to see her and you just made the biggest mistake if what your wanting is to make money cause your not gonna make any of it making a season that looks as bad as that.

Okay people, here is the scoop, The O.C. is a kick ass show and we all know it, the final episode of the third season was depressing, i still listen to the song that they played as ryan carried marissas dead body and i cry when i listen to it. The O.C. has been there for you now be there for the O.C. if you stop watchin it cuz the first few episodes blow then the rateings will drop and it will get cancelled before it can get better, WE CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN! I’ve read the rumors of the show going to have major changes such as; Ryan no longer lives in the Pool House and has his own place, also seth and summer are in college ON THE EAST COAST! yeah it sucks, they’ll still be on the show just on different sides of the country, also Remember luke, season 1? his twin brothers are going to be 16yr olds on the show too, sounds gay, i know, but sometimes shows have their down time where it’s lame for a bit, give these writers some credit, could you write a story that is 80 hour long episodes? know it gets hard and you run into writeres block where you gotta throw some lame shit in there until you get your motivation back, don’t give up on the O.C. it’ll get better, i know i will be sitting on my couch on November 2nd @ 9pm waiting and watching, and i will be there for every episode until the show ends, i have not missed one yet and i never will, THANK YOU!

All I want to say that I miss Marissa as well. I didn’t like how she treated Ryan, but she was a main part in the show. Its going to suck that she’s dead, but it will still be good. You know how they are, they have to have a love triangle with Ryan so there will be some catch. I’ll keep watchin’ it cus its the best show. Just wish I didn’t have to wait so looong!! I’m not too sure about Ryan cage fighting, but that’s the O.C. A bunch of different changes! I’m with the people that say that we have to keep watching it or it will get cancelled!
