Rachel, Rachel and More Rachel News

I have a few Rachel Bilson tidbits to throw your way and I will post links to the articles about them instead of writing a whole blog entry. I didn’t think a full entry was needed for all these small pieces of news so I will just include them below with a small summary of each.
First on the list is some news about how Rachel backed ex-classmate Catherine McPhee while she made her run on American Idol last year. If you did not know both her and Catherine went to the same highschool but were a few grades apart and did not really know each other. You can read about it here.
Next on the list is a little shocking because I think it’s totally out of character for her or maybe she did not realize what she was saying. In a recent interview with Teen Vogue she was quoted as saying this about show, “I just feel like the show is over. I’m so happy for everything it brought me, and it’s been such a great experience, but I think we’re all ready to move on.”.
One can only guess but it sounds like this is the last season for her at least. To find out what else she dishes out check out the October issue of Teen Vogue for the whole article.
The last thing I have is a video interview Rachel did with iesb.net about her new movie The Last Kiss which opens next weekend nationwide. It’s about 5 minutes long so sitback and enjoy.

november 2. and well, about what rachel said, i dont think its shocking at all. i had a feeling this would be the last season, with marissa gone and all so yea but if ratings are good, who knows, season 5? lets hope for more eps in season 4 instead of only 16

Well I feel kind of worried about The O.C.’s future because in America they’ve got everyone against them demanding stuff and all. I loved all seasons because they reflected different aspects of all characters and with marissa’s death I think it can be even more interesting.
The catch is almost no one thinks like I do which means probably there will not be a fifth season and that pisses me off. I think everyone should support the show if they really are so big of a fans as they say !
On the other hand i really think its not good for the show if the cast members start saying that this is the last season and that everyone’s ready to move on… it’s complicated. It endangers the show’s future and it really doesn’t need it ! The ratings aren’t at its best and many people are dissing the writers decisions and fox only bought like sixteen episodes.
Doesn’t look good, we can only hope that this season will be tough.

im a really big fan of the show and without marissa the show could still have good storylines. i mean, the storylines are what they are probably because of marissa death so who knows, this season could be a classic even if it only has 16 eps, plus josh is writing most of it so hopefully its good. i loved all three seasons and i cant face the fact that season 4 could be the last
miss marissa already. but i think this is the last season, cause it can´t be so good whitout marissa. althought, i don´t really love her so much, but the show will loose alot of its drama and action whiout her.
I think there will be a 5th season! I mean, Marissa was a great character but she wasn`t that important for the show, I mean most the time she did bullshit! And Kaitlin, Taylor and Luke will bring a nice new fresh air into the show! I hope O.C. will be everlasting!!!!!!!!!
except luke will only be a guest but who knows, i hope for 5 seasons but lets all focus on this one
lets look at this objectivly…marissa has gone and the oc can start to adapt into a show where people move on and its about there ups and downs while in the OC.ryan, marissa, summer and seth seem to have moved onto college and death haha and another life outside the OC and apart from each other..maybe now we see a new foursum created being katelin, lukes twin brothers and another girl comes into the fold. but again the parents such as sandy kirsten and julie keep the link going with seth ryan and summer away doing there college things and there new lifes!!it expands the show but keeps the orginal characters and introduces new ones.hey why not bring back zach and lindsay that could spice things up with ryan and the seth and summer thing!!go the OC for season 4 and on from there..Its a great show it should stay that way!!!
The O.C is a great show and I think everyone should back up Josh’s plans. Just because Marissa isnt part of the show anymore doesnt mean everyone should just give up on it. There can still be drama, romance and action without her. Even though its sad to see her go, we should really move on and still be true fans of the show and hopefully the upcoming seasons!
I am the biggest fan of The O.C I absolutley live for it’s clever humor, great action and story lines that keep me comming back for more. I really cant believe that this could be the last season. Even though marissa has left the show I truley think its for the better. The show has an amazing writer and even without her character it will definitly survive, it just means that we wont have to watch marissa stur up trouble and ruin Ryans life anymore! thank god. I am really excited and looking forward to season 4 with the new batch of characters I know that they wont dissapoint.
Ugh don’t claim to be the biggest O.C fan if you don’t know for certain. You might be the biggest that you know of, but in that case word it properly. Rachels right though… I think its going to end.. and Im really sad about it, but its reality.
i also think its going to be the last season cuz the main characters are all in different places now and the new characters are just not the same so it is extremely sad but i guess its better to stop the show now be4 it gets real bad
i really think that the show can still be a hit,i for example am from Romania and everyone here is worried about this fourth season but also we are very optimistic because the crew has proved that a good storyline and witty conversations make a great show so even though misha and her troubled yet fascinating character wont be part in this 4th season our hopes are up
