Season 4 Episodes on MySpace and Fox Sites

News Corp. will show the season premiere of the teen drama “The O.C.'’ on MySpace.com and on the Web sites of company-owned Fox affiliates a week before the program airs on TV.

The hour-long show will be available on MySpace.com and 24 local television station sites beginning Oct. 26. The show will air on television Nov. 2, Fox said in an e-mailed statement today.

Putting the show on the Internet is part of Murdoch’s strategy to use MySpace to drive younger audiences to Fox movies and television shows. The company is showing episodes of other Fox shows, including “Prison Break'’ and “Bones,'’ on the social networking site after they aired on the network.

News Corp. purchased Los Angeles-based MySpace.com as part of its $580 million acquisition of Intermix Media Inc. in July 2005.

its good guys, i recieved the avengers ep yesterday cause i won a contest and its good. everything about it is good. acting, storyline, comedy, drama, cliffhanger, music, everything. summer however is something. you’ll find out when u watch it

Corei, the DVD says strictly not to upload. So I’m not going to. Maybe someone else would, I dont know. But the fox place on Myspace. I watched the whole season of The Loop on there. And they are very good quality. So it should be good to watch it there.

your ip has to be from the usa… if not, you’re only see black after the saw trailer.

if you use a proxy server, it’ll work as well… simply looking for a proxy from the usa..

does anybody know if i can download the stream because i want to watch the episode fitting the screen not in the shitty browser

Fox is so lame. Only Americans could view the episode on the Fox sites and Myspace (maybe it was just too conjested when I was trying, but it did NOT work for me)

Wow this is annoying… I’m glad it wasn’t just me and that the problem has been identified, but it’s really annoying nonetheless! I can’t make those instructions achieve anything sadly… I understand them, it just doesn’t work for me.

I (U.S. Viewer) watched the first Episode of season 4 from FOX’s website directed to myspace and had no problem. It was AWSOME!! Good job O.C. Producers, that is the kind of work we have been waiting for. Good acting, great camera shots, just the right amount of zingy humor without being cheezy, not too much lame Taylor topics, great music and it hits the viewer with emotion. A chip off the season 1 and 2 block. It was one of the best episodes I’ve seen in awhile. If anyone at FOX is reading these, please keep it up. The fans want to keep this show alive, and work like this will keep us watching and the ratings where they need to be for Fox to order more episodes. All U.S. viewers please tune in Thursdays at 9 for the new season and to the crew, again KUDOS on “The Avengers”!!!!!!!!!

Europe, The Netherlands, that means I also can’t watch it on myspace, and that’s bullcrap!Btw about the ratings; i don’t think Josh Schwartz wanted to have good ratings, cause then he wouldn’t have send those first for eps to everyone and put the first and second ep on myspace.I think he just wants the ratings to get higher and higher, cause after those 2 eps on the net ore at least the first 4 everyone has to watch it on t.v. and than we’ll see if the ratings get up ..or if the OC really is doomed…..

im not sure. viewers mite not be bothered to watch it through events of last season, and actually realise it is a show moving in a new, positive direction that i think makes for great plots and writing by the directors. As the Avengers was brilliant.

i don’t know.. On a lot of forums you read a lot of fans complaining about marissa’s dead, but in season 3 she screwed up with ryan … she hooked up with that fag johnny, after that there was volcheck and cocain-sniffing-alcoholic-marissa i donno, if Schwartz didn’t do anything The O.C. was doomed anywayz judging by the lower raitings then the previous seasons. Marissa’s dead gave a new spin to the OC, not everyone’s gonna like it but i know i will! but i really think that the ratings will get up after the first 4 episodes..

Ok, so you’re an obsessed OC fan, wainting to see these new eps right? You’d be happy to DL them but, lets face it, it takes SO long. Well I have a way to view the Ep 1 and 2 on Fox’s MySpace page, for all you non US/Canadian fans.

You need to change your computer’s IP adress. if you are willing to do that, then proceed.

(YOu can do this for both Modzilla and IE, it worked on my IE but not on my Modzilla, but it could work for you.

This is the Modizlla Method:

1. Click TOOLS

2. Scroll down to Options

3. Then click Connection Settings

4. Click Manual proxy configuration

5. Where it says ‘Http Proxy:’ type, copy andpaste this sequence: 67.15.2.32

6. The next box to the right should be labled ‘Proxy’. In that, copy and paste 3128

There you have it, your computer is masked and can view Fox’s MySpace episodes.

MAKE SURE YOU DL Fox Throttle Player, if you haven’t done it already.

Now the IE Method:

1. 1. Click TOOLS

2. Scroll down to Internet Options

3. Then click Connections (at the top of the box, which is along side Content and Programs.)

4. Click LAN Settings

5. Click Use a Proxy serveer for your LAN (this is half way down the box.)

6. In the box next to Adress, put copy and paste 67.15.2.32

7. In the box next to port, copy and paste 3128

Again note that you need the Fox Throttle Player. It worked for me on IE, and for someone else on Modrzilla. Enjoy two of the most enjoyable episodes since S1. Ep 2 is my favourite so far, and it one of my all time OC favourites! I love it!

i managed to watch the episode like that, while living in the uk, although it was a bit jerky, as in it would stop at a point for a min or so, kinda irritating, but i wasnt exactly going 2 give up!!! let me know if that works / does not work

I believe the song in question is a cover of “The End is Near”, which will appear on the new OC CD due in December. The band that covers it is called Band of Horses. The original isn’t as good as the covered version, so be sure to get the CD when it comes out.

well, i dont know if any of you have noticed, but it seems that there maybe something stirring between taylor and ryan? i was just wondering if it was only me…seeing something in the near future? and would that be so bad… i must admit the only person i see ryan with is marissa…but since she is dead…tear!
there has to be someone else…taylor maybe a little weird, talkative, loud, and kinda bossy…but she doesnt have alot of issues…well dealing with everyone around her..but it maybe good for the show…who knows…tell me your thoughts
