The Chrismukk-huh Like No Other

We now know what the ‘huh’ was in “The Chrismukk-huh” episode this time around. Taylor and Ryan find themselves in a coma after an unfortuate accident while hanging Christmas lights on the Cohens house. While in the coma they somehow get thrown into an alternate universe where life in Newport is a little out whack. Life in Newport reflects what it would have been like if Ryan and Taylor were not around.
For a quick rundown on life without Ryan and Taylor, Jimmy and Kirsten are married, Julie and Sandy are married, Sandy is Mayor of Newport, Julie and Che are having an affair, Taylor is a boy, Che and Summer are engaged, Seth is a wimp who gets punked by Lukes twin brothers, Marissa died in a drug overdose in Mexico and Kaitlin attends Berkley.
I have to say this episode was by far the best episode of the year and possibly one of the best episode ever. I know I might be going to far by saying that but I really mean that and I know some of you feel the same way. This episode was very powerfull in that we got to see for the first time what The OC was like if Ryan never came into the Cohens life. One thing was for sure Marissa was destin to die but thanks to Ryan she got an extra 3 years to live. For all those hoping to see Marissa you got punked when it was Kaitlin instead of Marissa in the airport returning home from College, by the way how was she in College when she is suppose to be 15 or 16, that part did not make sense. Overall this episode rocked.

“The Christmukkuh-huh” was, maybe, the best episode of The OC…EVER. I know that sounds sacreligious, but its true. It had me jumping in the air, my jaw dropping, and everything else. It totally lived up to the hype. And, apparently, Kaitlin was a prodigy, or at least thats what she said, but, yeah, still dumb. Can’t wait for next week when Seth proposes to Summer. I know its early, and, really, no season can ever be better than the first. But, so far, this fourth season is very close.
so i dont think this episode was amazing cause like they’re acting sucked (except taylor and ryan) but yes i know they were trying to be like funny but they could have just acted like season one i mean summer did used to act all dumb and seth was wicked dorky. anyyyways the thing was i lovved the way they did marissa. cause like RYAN SAVVVED her he didnt kill her!!!!!! AWWWW!!!! i cryed. like omg luke still cheated on her and her parents still got a devorse it was just all better with ryan cause he SAVVVED her. and them they played into dust ( the song when he was at the beach.. same song when he saved her in TJ and 1st episode) Amazing im telling u the whole marissa thing cause she was a mess b4 he came and he just had to realize that. yay ryann!

Loved it too!!!!!!! Maybe not the best episode ever but definately in the top 3 for me. I’m kinda glad that they haven’t rushed too much in making Ryan and Taylor a couple but trust me I can’t wait till Ryan finally calls her his girlfriend
This Episode sure reminded me of season one, as I’m sure was totally the point and I was so glad to see Seth getting teased again… ah the snarky depressed old Seth… although I may be the only one, don’t get me wrong I love Rachel Bilson but was summer a litte over the top this episode, almost annoying??? And for the Che character (who I actuallly liked on everwood but…) hasn’t quite grown on me either…can anyone that maybe agrees tell me why??? Let’s see if the writers can keep up the good work, although after seeing the preview to next weeks episode with seeing Seth propose??? Does this mean this year is definately going to be the end of our beloved show??? I would like to think it could be saved?? Especially with all the die hard fans that have stood by it and the others that are now making the effort to help save it?

Oh my Gosh i just watched the ic and it was acualy the BEST WPISODE EVVERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
I was forced to watch this episode with my girlfriend, and I’ve got to say, if this is the best episode ever you fools have been wasting your lives. I can’t believe how stupid and pointless this show is. So they fall into a coma, and they just know that making things right in Newport is going to wake them up? Go to hell, that is the dumbest plot of any episode of any show I’ve ever had the misfortune to watch. I hope in next week’s show they have mole people, or Ryan gets lasers to shoot out of his eyeballs and he terrorizes Newport, because either of those plots would be more interesting, more entertaining and somehow more believable. In closing, the OC sucks.
What I love even more than the previous comment is that he felt so vehemently about the episode that he found this obscure blog to express his disgust. So perplexing, so wonderful.
And P.S., the key is to just give in to the shallowness of the whole thing. Imagination much?

Ok so i normally dont watch the OC i watched maybe the first few episodes and hlf the second and third season…. but this was the episode that got me hooked. Summer was pretty goddamn funny…Seth well lets just say that int he end he should definalty propose to Summer, i think hes good for her. And the whole Marissa thing was a little complicated but at least we know he didnt kill her. I found it Funny when Taylor was a guy in the alt universe lol. WHAT THE HELL IS A JOINX? she kept saying that and i was like WTF?! but whatever this episode got me hooked and ima be watching The oc a lot more often. By the way does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when Ryan saw Kaitlin in the alt universe?
hey..im rukman from india ..and i love the oc!!! …at first i thought tht season 4 would be wierd bcz marissa wasnt thre…but i must say THE OC TEAM HAS DONE A FANTASTIC JOB …each epidode is full of fun n surprises …a job well done …n this episode as usual …was AWESOME!!!….i wish that thye oc NEVER ENDS …keep up the good work ..the oc rocks!!!….all my friends are crazy about it ..n we cant wait 4 the next episods eo come….mwaaah
Well first of all, OMG!
The episode was extremely well done, and an amazing tie in to the first season. I’m usually not one to rant and rave about a TV show and I’ve expected the worst from this season - but this episode blew me out of the water. Truly that good/
It has absolutely nothing to do with storyline in that it was amazing - it made you as a viewer reevaluate your investment to the characters, and THAT is what a soap opera is all about (which is why even when a show gets so bad, we tend to tune in). Of course there’s been good, fun drama to watch in this show (Oliver anyone?) but this was just all about character and how their lives would have changed.
We’ve known how things were before Ryan came into the picture, but briefly … and how knowing him all of their lives changed.
Very smart. One thing I am still wondering about is how Kirsten and Jimmy ended up together after Marissa’s death (the mexico one). I remember they kissed in the first summer of the season, but Kirsten put a stop to it - I think that after Marissa died that fall they had an affair because I can’t come to any other conclusion, especially because Jimmy always loved her.
My jaw dropped at the mention of Marissa dying in the allyway - I’ll never forget, wasn’t that the cliffhanger for like 6 weeks in season 1? Insane! I loved that whole sequence and that Ryan actually saved her and gave her 3 years of life - she got to fall in love, graduate high school, etc. Also, that it was fated Marissa was going to die young and that knowing Ryan was not the reason for it.
Bravo and I believe this was truly one of (no THE) the best episodes ever! I have been complaining about the fact that there was no closure to Marissa’s death via a funeral, but this was so much better. I underestimated the OC big time. It’s just finally we saw the importance and purpose of Ryan and what he truly brought to all of the other characters lives. *claps*
I can’t wait to see it..

One other thing that I didn’t understand, was why Taylor was a boy in this alternate universe?

well i liked this episode alot! especially tha part where taylor see’s her mom and she says ” and my moms still a bitch” man that part was HILARIOUS! I WAS CRACKIN UP!! another part that was hilarious was when seth was in his room and ryan went in there to help him out and he was going crazy!! omg tha part when ryan was at the airport and he saw tha berkley jacket and it all went slow motion OMG my heart was beating fast and my eyes got huge! but ryan was like everybody’s angel that came to their lives and saved them even though it was for just a few years!!! wish i wasnt going to mexico for christmas but ill get someone to record it for me!! yay
In relation to all the naysayers, complainers, and critics of this great show, I also applaud you on finding this site somehow and voicing your disgust. I can say from personal experience that this show is for anyone, as long as you have and open mind and take the time to start from episode one, season one. Otherwise there’s really no point in my opinion. Also, I might add that when I was in Iraq last year, many of us watched this show as a sort of beacon of remembrance of the America that we all left behind to serve our country. In my opinion, anyone who speaks out rashly without due cause to a group of like-minded people deserves to be slandered a bit.
But in other news, I also enjoyed this episode greatly, I had to watch it on a very small screen, but I don’t really care: I Love the OC! Peace Y’all.
i like the oc its a good show. but they have killed it. what is up with all the funnies??? yeah there was a dramatic event (they fell off) but if it was the real oc then they would have been blood or something, not a funny thing like “lets make it a funny and just a bump on the head and lets pass out!!!” ok and yeah i was waiting for marissa to be alive but they know the show and killed her ne ways off the show. I thought it was funny that Ryan saved everyone but Kaitlin.
I was glad Marissa wasn’t in the episode. It just seemed right for her not to be in it.
this is my fav. season!! and last nights shows was 1 of my favs ever!! its up there with the T.J. trip and the oliver episodes!! cant wait till next week to see what happens when seth proposes to summer! finaly!

wow it was definitly amazing last night all i can say is that if this show keeps going like this it could be great. well i hope the oc doesnt stop because it is the best show, i should know i actually used to watch csi on thursdays but when the oc changed times to thursdays at nine i quit watching it to watch the oc. im glad it had some insight to what wouldve happened to the oc with out ryan. well as to one of the best oc episodes ever i give applaus. lets keep the oc alive.

I read this somewhere but dont quote me,
Ratings were up just slightly from the previous week which probably amounts to about 4.8 million viewers.
Not bad but at least it’s an increase, are we seeing a new and improved OC coming back to life or is this like the dead guy when his nerves kick in for a few last gasps. Only time will time, so keep watching and hoping.
After being disillusioned by the last season (not because of the Marissa storyline coming to an end) but the repetitive nature of the show. This season at least in my view, has been the best since it first aired. The Chrismukk-huh? episode was great and interesting. I like how their messing with their own conventions. Taking different approach like Summer Bummers opening when Sandy offering Ryan a bagel when he snaps out of his daydreaming and the shot had that fish-eyed camera look. Just little stuff like that. They’re doing what few shows do around the time they get to as many seasons…they’re progressing. But there was no Alt Nana Cohen.

The way they did the whole goodbye to Marissa was absolutely perfect. because shes still been a big part of the show, even though shes gone. and like just the way Ryan finally says goodbye to her, and he can move on and the story line of season four can keep going. obviously shes still going to come up in the show, but that was a perfect way for a sort of “closing”. the episode made me laugh and cry at the same time. they were so tricky with the whole thing about maybe marissa coming back in this episode. and summer’s acting like a gangster/slut/whatever else she was being was hilarious. definitely one of the better episodes of the oc. this season is turning out to be better than i expected. and as much as i dont like to admit it, taylor’s kinda growing on me.
I have to say I did not like this episode at all.. I only had one thought through the whole show, and that was “when is the amazing part coming?”
Although I have to agree with that they made the whole “Ryan gave Marissah 3 more years to live” very perfectly. But in the end, this episode gave me nothing but a feeling of “huh?”
I was expecting more of a fan-gift with the whole “Chrishmukka” theme and all.
Just like it have been in the past three seasons.

At first i kinda wanted it to be Marissa at the airport, but when it turned out that Ryan actually saved Marissa and helped her live 3 more years, it was just as great. I like this ep and how it finally feels like the whole Marissa thing is fading away. I was getting a little tired of them mentioning her in every episode. Now i think everyone has finally said goodbye to Marissa Cooper!
did anyone else notice when ryan was in the mall that there was a poster that said “pacwest surfer” johnny? that made me very sad, because johnny would have still been alive, at least ryan didn’t see that and blame himself for that too!

i went to LA for a trip for my birthday and the reason was because of the show. I visited Redondo beach and it was awsome to be sitting in the dinner, and to feel a part of the show. I thought the episode was really good. I was disapointed that Marissa was not on the show but the story of what happened was great. To show that Ryan did make her life better was great, but the airport part made my heart drop when it wasn’t her. I still would like to see some more emotion from Ryan about how much Marissa ment to him. I am still a huge fan.

There’s not much to say, the chrismukkah episodes have always been my favorites and they’ve done it again. I’ve been working for belgian television for a few years now and they’ll never have a program like the OC. Fox has already done an excellent job with this 4th season. Keep up the good work! Cause I think there are a lot of addicted people out there like me. For the one’s who don’t like it… what the hell are you doing on an OC blog? Find yourselfs a hobby!

So hey.. rachel and adam, i cant believe how adorable you guys are. i mean i just started watching the OC this season, so the first thing on my christmas list is the first three seasons, i only started watching this season but i am so in love with it already. and i dont even know the whole story!!! so obviously its the most amazing show in the ENTIRE world, how does it feel to have so many people and couples look up to you guys? i mean like i also tell my boyfriend that we are like seth and summer.. haha!! cutest couple ever and i cant wait to hopefully hear from you guys..

Chrismukk-huh episode was one of the best. However, it would’ve been even better if The Cohens and Summer could have seen the alternate universe as well. Seth seems to be the only one that has always realized Ryan’s impact on life in Orange County.When I first saw that Julie and Sandy were married I imagined the real Sandy’s reaction. For sure he would have been shocked and trying to figure out how it happened. Summer’s reaction to her alternate self would’ve been even funnier than how she was in the alternate reality. The only problem with this scenerio is the fact that the characters would be unable to interact with each other.

It was a great episode, The OC is one of the best series I’ve seen. This episode was beautiful. It is one of the best episodes of the serie but not the best one because all episodes aregood. Che is a strange and irritating person.I hope that this character soon leaves the OC.I download every week the new episode. Holland is stopped bij sending out the OC 2 years ago.. And I hope that the OC wil have a season 5 and 6

What an amazing episode. It might not jave been the best ever, but definately up there. Taylor is suck a bloody looser. If she wasnt there, there would hradly be any difference exept there would be a guy in her place. I dont know why she ison the show in the first place. she is such a looser character who just got some importance because Marrisa died.
hey im shane my gf always comments on this website and she has given me motivation to leave a post so here it is. the oc is a great show for us if we dont already have enough drama in our lives . its a great concept because we can watch it and feel the emoticons behind all these vivid experinces but we dont have to actually experinece it. the actors are great and really believable. but i think that my relationship with my gf is like summer and seth, we are so perfect and i love her so much and the oc makes me a feel alot of initative to help the relationship and keep it alive. so i am trying to learn to like it .. for her sake.

This Episode sure reminded me of season one, as I’m sure was totally the point and I was so glad to see Seth getting teased again… ah the snarky depressed old Seth… although I may be the only one, don’t get me wrong I love Rachel Bilson but was summer a litte over the top this episode, almost annoying??? And for the Che character (who I actuallly liked on everwood but…) hasn’t quite grown on me either…can anyone that maybe agrees tell me why??? Let’s see if the writers can keep up the good work, although after seeing the preview to next weeks episode with seeing Seth propose??? Does this mean this year is definately going to be the end of our beloved show??? I would like to think it could be saved?? Especially with all the die hard fans that have stood by it and the others that are now making the effort to help save it?

I was forced to watch this episode with my girlfriend, and I’ve got to say, if this is the best episode ever you fools have been wasting your lives. I can’t believe how stupid and pointless this show is. So they fall into a coma, and they just know that making things right in Newport is going to wake them up? Go to hell, that is the dumbest plot of any episode of any show I’ve ever had the misfortune to watch. I hope in next week’s show they have mole people, or Ryan gets lasers to shoot out of his eyeballs and he terrorizes Newport, because either of those plots would be more interesting, more entertaining and somehow more believable. In closing, the OC sucks.

Ok so i normally dont watch the OC i watched maybe the first few episodes and hlf the second and third season…. but this was the episode that got me hooked. Summer was pretty goddamn funny…Seth well lets just say that int he end he should definalty propose to Summer, i think hes good for her. And the whole Marissa thing was a little complicated but at least we know he didnt kill her. I found it Funny when Taylor was a guy in the alt universe lol. WHAT THE HELL IS A JOINX? she kept saying that and i was like WTF?! but whatever this episode got me hooked and ima be watching The oc a lot more often. By the way does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when Ryan saw Kaitlin in the alt universe?

Well first of all, OMG!
The episode was extremely well done, and an amazing tie in to the first season. I’m usually not one to rant and rave about a TV show and I’ve expected the worst from this season - but this episode blew me out of the water. Truly that good/
It has absolutely nothing to do with storyline in that it was amazing - it made you as a viewer reevaluate your investment to the characters, and THAT is what a soap opera is all about (which is why even when a show gets so bad, we tend to tune in). Of course there’s been good, fun drama to watch in this show (Oliver anyone?) but this was just all about character and how their lives would have changed.
We’ve known how things were before Ryan came into the picture, but briefly … and how knowing him all of their lives changed.
Very smart. One thing I am still wondering about is how Kirsten and Jimmy ended up together after Marissa’s death (the mexico one). I remember they kissed in the first summer of the season, but Kirsten put a stop to it - I think that after Marissa died that fall they had an affair because I can’t come to any other conclusion, especially because Jimmy always loved her.
My jaw dropped at the mention of Marissa dying in the allyway - I’ll never forget, wasn’t that the cliffhanger for like 6 weeks in season 1? Insane! I loved that whole sequence and that Ryan actually saved her and gave her 3 years of life - she got to fall in love, graduate high school, etc. Also, that it was fated Marissa was going to die young and that knowing Ryan was not the reason for it.
Bravo and I believe this was truly one of (no THE) the best episodes ever! I have been complaining about the fact that there was no closure to Marissa’s death via a funeral, but this was so much better. I underestimated the OC big time. It’s just finally we saw the importance and purpose of Ryan and what he truly brought to all of the other characters lives. *claps*

well i liked this episode alot! especially tha part where taylor see’s her mom and she says ” and my moms still a bitch” man that part was HILARIOUS! I WAS CRACKIN UP!! another part that was hilarious was when seth was in his room and ryan went in there to help him out and he was going crazy!! omg tha part when ryan was at the airport and he saw tha berkley jacket and it all went slow motion OMG my heart was beating fast and my eyes got huge! but ryan was like everybody’s angel that came to their lives and saved them even though it was for just a few years!!! wish i wasnt going to mexico for christmas but ill get someone to record it for me!! yay

In relation to all the naysayers, complainers, and critics of this great show, I also applaud you on finding this site somehow and voicing your disgust. I can say from personal experience that this show is for anyone, as long as you have and open mind and take the time to start from episode one, season one. Otherwise there’s really no point in my opinion. Also, I might add that when I was in Iraq last year, many of us watched this show as a sort of beacon of remembrance of the America that we all left behind to serve our country. In my opinion, anyone who speaks out rashly without due cause to a group of like-minded people deserves to be slandered a bit.
But in other news, I also enjoyed this episode greatly, I had to watch it on a very small screen, but I don’t really care: I Love the OC! Peace Y’all.

i like the oc its a good show. but they have killed it. what is up with all the funnies??? yeah there was a dramatic event (they fell off) but if it was the real oc then they would have been blood or something, not a funny thing like “lets make it a funny and just a bump on the head and lets pass out!!!” ok and yeah i was waiting for marissa to be alive but they know the show and killed her ne ways off the show. HOW IS KAITLYN IN COLLEGE IF SHE IS STILL IN HIGH NOW THERE IS NO WAY SHE COULD HAVE DONE THAT IN 3 YEARS!!!!!! they did not get that part right!!! I thought it was funny that Ryan saved everyone but Kaitlin.
I was glad Marissa wasn’t in the episode. It just seemed right for her not to be in it.

wow it was definitly amazing last night all i can say is that if this show keeps going like this it could be great. well i hope the oc doesnt stop because it is the best show, i should know i actually used to watch csi on thursdays but when the oc changed times to thursdays at nine i quit watching it to watch the oc. im glad it had some insight to what wouldve happened to the oc with out ryan. well as to one of the best oc episodes ever i give applaus. lets keep the oc alive.

I read this somewhere but dont quote me,
Ratings were up just slightly from the previous week which probably amounts to about 4.8 million viewers.
Not bad but at least it’s an increase, are we seeing a new and improved OC coming back to life or is this like the dead guy when his nerves kick in for a few last gasps. Only time will time, so keep watching and hoping.

After being disillusioned by the last season (not because of the Marissa storyline coming to an end) but the repetitive nature of the show. This season at least in my view, has been the best since it first aired. The Chrismukk-huh? episode was great and interesting. I like how their messing with their own conventions. Taking different approach like Summer Bummers opening when Sandy offering Ryan a bagel when he snaps out of his daydreaming and the shot had that fish-eyed camera look. Just little stuff like that. They’re doing what few shows do around the time they get to as many seasons…they’re progressing. But there was no Alt Nana Cohen.

The way they did the whole goodbye to Marissa was absolutely perfect. because shes still been a big part of the show, even though shes gone. and like just the way Ryan finally says goodbye to her, and he can move on and the story line of season four can keep going. obviously shes still going to come up in the show, but that was a perfect way for a sort of “closing”. the episode made me laugh and cry at the same time. they were so tricky with the whole thing about maybe marissa coming back in this episode. and summer’s acting like a gangster/slut/whatever else she was being was hilarious. definitely one of the better episodes of the oc. this season is turning out to be better than i expected. and as much as i dont like to admit it, taylor’s kinda growing on me.

I have to say I did not like this episode at all.. I only had one thought through the whole show, and that was “when is the amazing part coming?”
Although I have to agree with that they made the whole “Ryan gave Marissah 3 more years to live” very perfectly. But in the end, this episode gave me nothing but a feeling of “huh?”
I was expecting more of a fan-gift with the whole “Chrishmukka” theme and all.
Just like it have been in the past three seasons.

thanks Matzoe for the link to songs from the oc. I didn’t know they had a website for that. I too loved this ep. I won’t say it was the best ever, but it was by far the best in the fourth season. At first i kinda wanted it to be Marissa at the airport, but when it turned out that Ryan actually saved Marissa and helped her live 3 more years, it was just as great. I like this ep and how it finally feels like the whole Marissa thing is fading away. I was getting a little tired of them mentioning her in every episode. Now i think everyone has finally said goodbye to Marissa Cooper!

i went to LA for a trip for my birthday and the reason was because of the show. I visited Redondo beach and it was awsome to be sitting in the dinner, and to feel a part of the show. I thought the episode was really good. I was disapointed that Marissa was not on the show but the story of what happened was great. To show that Ryan did make her life better was great, but the airport part made my heart drop when it wasn’t her. I still would like to see some more emotion from Ryan about how much Marissa ment to him. I am still a huge fan.

There’s not much to say, the chrismukkah episodes have always been my favorites and they’ve done it again. I’ve been working for belgian television for a few years now and they’ll never have a program like the OC. Fox has already done an excellent job with this 4th season. Keep up the good work! Cause I think there are a lot of addicted people out there like me. For the one’s who don’t like it… what the hell are you doing on an OC blog? Find yourselfs a hobby!

Chrismukk-huh episode was one of the best. However, it would’ve been even better if The Cohens and Summer could have seen the alternate universe as well. Seth seems to be the only one that has always realized Ryan’s impact on life in Orange County.When I first saw that Julie and Sandy were married I imagined the real Sandy’s reaction. For sure he would have been shocked and trying to figure out how it happened. Summer’s reaction to her alternate self would’ve been even funnier than how she was in the alternate reality. The only problem with this scenerio is the fact that the characters would be unable to interact with each other.

It was a great episode, The OC is one of the best series I’ve seen. This episode was beautiful. It is one of the best episodes of the serie but not the best one because all episodes aregood. Che is a strange and irritating person.I hope that this character soon leaves the OC.I download every week the new episode. Holland is stopped bij sending out the OC 2 years ago.. And I hope that the OC wil have a season 5 and 6

What an amazing episode. It might not jave been the best ever, but definately up there. Taylor is suck a bloody looser. If she wasnt there, there would hradly be any difference exept there would be a guy in her place. I dont know why she ison the show in the first place. she is such a looser character who just got some importance because Marrisa died.

hey im shane my gf always comments on this website and she has given me motivation to leave a post so here it is. the oc is a great show for us if we dont already have enough drama in our lives . its a great concept because we can watch it and feel the emoticons behind all these vivid experinces but we dont have to actually experinece it. the actors are great and really believable. but i think that my relationship with my gf is like summer and seth, we are so perfect and i love her so much and the oc makes me a feel alot of initative to help the relationship and keep it alive. so i am trying to learn to like it .. for her sake.

Ryan and Seth are so HOTTT!!! Chrismukkah has in spired me and my bff to celebrate it!! we exchanged gifts for five days!! we had a blast. Her wall it covered in OC HEAVEN!!! I lOVE IT!!!!!! I skipped a practice so i could watch It could be changed to different time or a different channel!!! it duxnt have to be canceled!!
I just want to say that the OC is my favourite show on tv. I never miss an episode. For me this episode. was amazing. Like every episode that has been made. I get right into the shows, as if I’m there in the tv with them. I feel what the cast is acting out, sometimes I cry and sometimes I laugh. I think that this episode. was the perfect way to help Ryan get over Marissa since the accident and bring Ryan and Tayler closer together. This episode was just so amazing.
man, THAT was the best episode of The OC, ever.
best part of the episode for me was the poster saying “Johnny Harper, star of PacWest”. it was just damn tragic… if Johnny had never met Marissa, he’d a) be alive and b) be a great success. beef.
i wasn’t sure of this episode at first, but then it started coming together, and wow,it was such a powerful episode. i love the way they used the same music from the 1st ep and the one in TJ,very clever.
it moved me, and it was a great way for ryan to deal with marrisa’s death.
i’ll never doubt josh schwartz for a second again, because i was wrong!
the director, writers, cast and crew are…. GENIUS!
