Can’t believe I am writing this but The OC is done for good folks. I wanted to get this post up so everybody can post a farewell comment to the show and write about something you enjoyed or someone you enjoyed over all four seasons. Please don’t think this will be the last post on this blog as I will keep updating the site about the cast on where they land in the TV and film world. So get out your tissues and start typing, I wanna know what your fav moments of the years gone by are.

i agree with zach… but another part was when the “babys” where all grown up in like 2 min… and when summer was walking down the ile!!! lol i cant spell right now!!! i just stated crying!!! when summer gave that locket to julie with marissas pix in it!!! omg when ryan left the old house i knew they were going to play that one scene when he sees marissa and what did they play… that famous scene!!! omg i cant belive its over!!! i will miss it… omg i missed the earthqake episode and the one after that!!! so i was so lost in the beggining!!! i will have this show as the best of the best!!!

I absolutely loved the ending, like the Seth and Summer wedding, Julie graduating, and the best part, where Ryan asks the kid if he needs help.

No…..They made it look like Ryan was doing wat sandy did in the beginning, by picking up some person that didnt no anything (like ryan at first)…..and yeah that was a really good ending, i wonder wat the maker of show will do next, cause im sure it’ll be good!!!

I can’t believe the oc is finally over. This show always sent a good message to teens and now they could have went into the college community. I am very sorry to see it end. I love this show.
That was the best episode ever! I love the OC and am so sad it ended! I thought it was a great show, and it was awesome how it ended showing how great everything turned out for everyone!
Wow!! This is almost like someone close has died. I cried almost the whole show. The moment that will forever stick in my head about The OC is the day that Ryan saw Marissa at the end of the driveway. I will miss this show. Hopefully they will have saeson 4 on DVD to buy!!!!

I can’t believe this show didn’t have good enough ratings to keep it going! I’ve probably seen every single episode and all of them were great. I hate American TV viewers, they watch the wrong shows and cause the good shows to get canceled. Bastards!

OMG. they just ended it… sad. you know. it was sad when they were showing marissa when ryan was leaving. the end was a tear jerker but the last part when he asked the kid if he needed help was great im hoping they might have another season or the same cast in a new show or movie. RIP OC

i like how they sort of tied up all loose ends when they showed the future of everyone. btw that scene at the end with ryan and the kid was genious. i hope they play oc over from season 1 that’d be amazing because started watching in the middle of the 1st season. i cred in every season fnally.. but not this one i don’t know why ..

I think the OC sure as hell had a great run, and although marissa’s death might have ruined the ratings, it didnt ruin the show. Because the OC only got better after she left. One of my fav. moments was definatly graduation. and another this season was one it was the race to see who would marry julie first. bullit or frank. and when katilin had that “team bullit” shirt. and she sadi to taylor “its war bitch!” i was like peeing my pants. i love the OC with all my heart, and although i know there wont be any spin-off. the OC will live on forever in my heart. Californiaaaaaaaaa

I thought that was realy good….im happy with the way that it ended, i cant wait to see wat the producer is up to….mabey a new show!! (although it will never be as good as the OC)…..and Shannon, wat do u mean by, “so much has to happen”??…….and mabey even in the future they will recreate the show either following the lives of a new group of people, or mabey the kids of some of the cast!….anyway i still cant believe it has ended, now i will never no wat to do on my thursdays!….5 stars to every episode of the oc ever made!!!

well, i just watched the final episode and i dont think i have EVER cryed that much ! it was so sad, i still cannnot believe i am never going to see a new episode of the oc ever again, it became something i could count on to make me happy. It was an amazing episode, as all of them have been, and they did wrap things up, and i loved the flash backs, and how they showed the future. Again, i cannot believe its over for good, it still hasnt hit me, but all i can say is i cant wait for the dvds and im hoping there is farewells and things from the cast ! anyways just thought i would write to say how much i loved the show and how great the finale was !
oh and travis.. wtf? dont say RIP OC cause the OC isnt dead. Marissa might be dead but the OC isnt.

When they played the first episode, I was a little scepticle, but- the episode where Luke and Ryan were cool with each other, and oliver came into the picture- that was when I noticed that I was addicted to the show, and I am a guy… It is a shame that quality t.v. like this isn’t more appreciated….. this last episode was amazing. i admit i was crying. i had my box of tissues next to me the whole time. i loved how they looked back on when ryan first came to new port. i was glad to see he remembered marissa. the locket that summer gave julie was what hit the water works for me. the whole show was just so great. the end was the best ryan, a sucessful career man sees a boy who was just like him and the whole cycle starts over again. i couldnt think of a better way to end the show. i miss the o.c. every thursday, i would plan my thursday around the show i loved it that much, crazy i know. haha. i wish all the characters the best and i hope that some day they have a reunion of some sort. california here we come, california here we go.

i think the best part was when ryan was going through all the rooms and remembering the first time he saw everything, including marissa. i cried so hard i cant believe the show is over! i feel like part of my thursday are gone forever!! i like how they showed everyone a few years down the line, it was more satisfying knowing what happened to them later on in life.
but my favorite scene of all time is season one when ryan shows up at the new years party with seconds to spare and kisses marissa and tells her he loves her, ive watched that episode at least 10 times, not including the time it aired.

OMG!!! This was the greatest t.v. show I’ve ever watched.. Man when I first watched the very first episoide made, i had just fell in love with this show.. Now what are we suppose to watch now with the O.C gone!!!!My favorite parts had to been on New Years Eve in season 1 where Ryan had just made it to the party in time to kiss Marissa. Then was the The Rainy Day episoid in season too, but most of all this last episode has to be far the BEST episoide created yet. All I have to say is that I LUVED the whole cast especially Adam Brody…O.C roxs!!!

I’ve watched The OC since episode 1 and one of my many favorite parts was the 1st season when Ryan and Seth go to the beach party and Summer is all over Ryan and Seth gets mad tells Ryan theres probably a really nice car in the drive way he could steal and then Seth is getting beaten up by the water polo team and Ryan comes and helps out and then when they get back to the pool house and seth says you totally had my back..and I’m never going to forget that. I loved all the Seth-Ryan conversations! Sandy was wonderful too! In tonights series finale when Ryan is walking through the house and they played scenes from the 1st season it was really good and sad. This show was definately great to grow up with! The entire cast was wonderful, everyone was perfect for their character! I love this show and always will! Peace out OC!

You would think that someone in my family just died, I cried like a little baby. It was really sad. I just can’t believe it ended. There is so many questions that were left unanswered.
What happened to Theresa and Ryans’ son?
What happened to Anna? Her and Seth were in the same town at school.
What happened to Taylor and Ryan?
Why were Bullett and Frank sitting in the audience when Julie graduated?
What were everyone’s kids names?
What ever happened to Volcheck?
And the main question is…What the hell was so important that Marissa had to leave the show last season? If she wouldn’t have died people would have kept watching and the show would have had at least one more season. I don’t even know who to be mad at!!!

The show has been going down hill since the end of Second Season. The show always had a good atmosphere and tremendous hype but rarely delivered. We should not forget the bad plotlines such as Alex, Oliver, that creepy Star Trek lady that was gonna take all of Kiki’s money at rehab, Johnny (the public school surfer), and Marissa and her moodiness in general.
The show should have stuck more with seth and summer love triangles (such as with Anna and the water polo guy), the Bait Shop, and Seth’s comic book club and his nerd friends. Second Season and Anna from the First season were the best.

I for instance download the music after every episode, and that has built my library to over 200 more songs. So what I think that it would be an amazing idea to publish a blog in which people can still get OC style music by everyone posting songs that sound like they would be in the OC!!! It’s an amazing idea, and it would allow people to keep on listening to the good old emo rock that they would hear on the OC!
PLEASE! You have the resources to do this becuase everyone already knows about you! This would be an amazing amazing amazing thing to do!!! you could even call it: OCTUNESBLOGGER.com!!!!!!!!! it works. It would truly revolutionize so many people’s ways of finding music. I was expecting this season to not be very good after Marissa died, but its turned out to be my favorite season if it hadn’t ended so soon!! Ryan changed so much he kind of became more happier and i think him and Taylor was the most unexpected thing ever but it worked out.
I didn’t like so way they ended the show though… they skipped so much stuff I don’t see how they couldn’t have finished off this season and even made another one. I mean with everything they showed in that one episode there is definatly enough for another season…. anyway I LOVE THE OC!!! and im really sad that its all over

I would have to say my favorite memories from the OC would be the New Years episode in season one where ryan rushes in at midnight. I think it was at that point where they show felt more like a movie to me. I feel that the whole season one was just one long movie sut inot pices. I kept watching and haven’t missed an episode but it was the first 27 that really make the show for me.
I am crying as I write this. I have been crying since the last 1/2 hr of the LAST EPISODE EVER. I have no idea what I am going to do now… I feel lost. I have to say, what a way to go… Especially when Ryan drove past & Marissa was standing there, like in the beginning….

I miss the show so much and i have to admit i cried many times through this last show. i loved that part where summer tells seth don’t worry you are my destiny. Please dont let the show end. This isn’t the way it was suppose to end. i was sadden by ryan was left all by himself at the house remembering moments that changed his life. what about the rest of the characters and the moments that changed thier lives. and then there wasn’t enough of a family moment right before sandy and kristen left for berkley. Julie and Kristen didn’t get a good goodbye they were truely best friends regardless of there mistakes. I TRUELY HATE FOX AS WELL!! THE O.C. DESERVED TO LIVE OUT ITS TRUE POTENTIAL!!

I just have to say wow.. this show had a really big affect on my life. I jusst cant believe that its gone. I sit her write this and listen to hallelujah just makes me sad. This show has really brighten my days when i was down and now .. i dont kno wat to do .. anyways jus wanted to say thanks for a great show that had touched alot of people.. and it has sertainly touch me in a way that i cant explain .. bye oc!

I would have to say the scene that got me crying was Ryan looking back at the house and flashblacks of the show. It makes me want to cry now. Or when Caleb died in the pool, that made me cry as well. Also when Kirsten wrecked. The actors on this show were amazing and you could tell that they gave it their all. It is so sad to see it go away. No more Thursday night, cut off the phone and watching it. We had to do something about this. It is madness to let a show like this end when it has so much more story to tell….you know?

My older cousins had Bev. Hills 90210 and they remember saying goodbye to that, but they also rember such things as reunion episodes. All i ask for is that 10 years down the road, i hope i get to sit down with my old friends and watch the TV show we love…..for another last time. Seriously, they left it farely wide open and gave it room for a whole new story. So in 10 years when they are all big stars, hopefull they can return to what made them. Were you guys a little suprised that there was no OC MEMORIES or anything of that sort?

I cant believe this show is over. What a mistake to get rid of a show like this. The writers kind of painted themselves into a corner but there is no reason to end something so great. I am going to miss this show more than anything. Rip OC
omg im so sad its endinngggg i loved the last episode though i just wish we got to find out more about what is going to happen with all the characters but from what ive seen its looks realy good and I think that they would be able to make another show out of that even if it was with a few new characters it could be sort of a whole new show. If it does end pleaseeeee it would be so great if we can see the actors/actresses in other shows too so that way we can still see them. I hope the writter keeps writting. And please bring the OC back
The most amazing show that ever existed. Nothing can compare. The ending montage was so beautiful. It began with Ryan’s story and it ended that way. Everything truly came a full circle. Thank you for everything, Josh.

marrages , and ryan helping the kid , knowing how he was , Everyone picking up their lives, the only thing i’m sad about, is the leaveing orange county , I mean.. I know it was a good ending , But by leaveing they completely erased all memories of marissa , Johnny , tre , etc.

I loved the mallepisode, because you would never think that would actually happen in real life, but they played it out really well. I’m so sad that the show is over, but I didn’t cry which i’m glad to say. Another episode I loved was the season 3 opener cause that was all of them together having fun. I loved them all, especially the episodes where marissa and ryan were together. I still can’t believe they killed her off and I think that they would of been able to squeeze more episodes in if they didn’t make that mistake. The last 5 minutes was the best cause it rapped everything up, Seth and Summer got married and Ryan is the new Sandy Cohen, when the flash backs came I almost cried. I loved the show and I’m gonna watch the seasons over and over again. I’m gonna miss watching it every thursday night.

I wish the show wasn’t over. I will miss watchig it every thursday. I will always be a fan of the o.c. I own the first three seasons on dvd and I plan to get this one too. I have to say that I really liked this season. I liked the fact that Ryan and Taylor were together and that Kirsten and Sandy had another child. I’m just sorry that there wasn’t enough people that liked this season to keep the show going. Anyways thank you to all the cast for making this show what it was.

This show was a huge part of my relationship. Over the last four years it was the one things no matter where we were we watched The OC together, even if I was out of town, we’d talk on the phone while it was in. I can’t believe a TV show can make me feel so sad. Four years ago I thought it was a kinda silly show…. now I’m a sad sad man…… It will be with me always!!!!!!! Take care everyone…
Justin, I totally hear you on that one… When it first started my wife (then just my g/f) thought it was going to be stupid, yet watched it. Now we’ve watched every episode and can’t get enough. I am very sad that it has ended. We feel a void in our Thursday evenings seeing as how we ALWAYS watched the show. It sounds silly to hear a grown, married man talk about how he and his wife both watched what was basically a teen drama. Nonetheless, we both loved it and are extremely saddened at the departure. The ending was awesome, I love seeing Julie obtain her degree, that really put me in a good mood. I think it worked nicely at the end, though I would have liked to have seen each even drawn out a little longer. I LOVE THE O.C.!!

OMG That Was fucking amazing 2 eps were the best bit confusing with 8 month gap in between but it worked where was taylor at the end i didnt see her, seth and summer married, sandy and kirstan, daughter, catlin, and them together for the graduation, ryan and the kid but i wanted taylor i loved her the most, u need to either start it again with like new charachters or sumfin, i dont get why it had to end u must of had enough money just for some shows, please why why why i miss it already
The OC was the very first and currently only US drama that I followed from start to finish. I’ve got the DVD box sets of all 3 previous seasons, which I like to watch while I’m doing the ironing. I will DEFINITELY get the DVD box set of the 4th season when it comes out.
Touching moments for me were when Summer presented the necklace containing Marissa’s photo to Julie and seeing flashbacks when Ryan did his last tour of the house.
It was great that everything worked out well for everybody in the end - Summer’s activism involvement Ryan, Seth and (surprisingly) Julie graduating from college, Seth and Summer tying the knot and Ryan succeeding in becoming an architect.
The full-circle gesture of Ryan offering help to the young guy was a very fitting end to a very enthralling television show.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of the cast members now.

The OC was an amazing show!!!!!!!!! It’s the only TV show that I’ve always been a true fan to. I’m going to miss it soooooooooooooooo much, and I can’t believe it’s over. I’ve got all the DVD’s from the 1rst to 3rd season!!! I love the cast of acters, and I’m gonna miss Seth and Summer!! I’ve always thought Seth(Adam Brody), is very funny, as well as Sandy. It feels like The OC’s been a huge part of my life, which it has been. To the cast, crew, Josh Schwartz, and FOX -you guys created an amazing show, and you should be very proud. Thanks for everthing, and I hope someday, The OC will some how come back!

I am an OC fan from the begining. I watched the very first episode and last night I watched the final, and it is honestly a little emotional for me. I am not a teenager- I have a job and an apartment and friends and family and a life, but this show was some sort of dependentcy I loved, and it will be dearly missed.
I honestly don’t know that pulling Marissa off the show ruined the show, but I think they had a chance to really get a new fresh start, and what we got was crap. Sorry, I hated this last season. I watched, but only out of loyalty. But, I AM glad that the last episode wasn’t its lately normal self by being teenie-bopperish and silly and not much of anything actually GOING on. It was tastefully done, and for the first time since Marissa died I cried and cried and CRIED! I CRIED! I wish Marissa had maybe been mentioned a little more in this last episode, I don’t feel she was done justice.
After all that bull up there, this show used to be *great* and will always be remembered that way, not just for its last season. Thank you to The OC and all its glory for a great trip.

Yes, I agree. Leaving all the characters in a good place was the best way to end it! IMO, season 4 was the best, just a little bit better than season 1. 2 was good. 3 was painful to watch, but I still did.

The last episode was spectacular, it all made sense in the end. They gave you what you wanted to happen for the entire group on the OC. I just know one of the greatest shows in my lifetime just came to an end. This last season was one of the best written in all the years and now its over that truly stinks?

Really ticked off.. had the Final show set to tape last night (it was on 2 of our channels) and the channel I selected to tape it changed to another show!!!! So I miissed it!!
Oh my God! I cannot believe it’s over for good. I have been a fan since Day 1 and even with competing time slots this season with Grey’s Anatomy, I always watched it.
This show was so addicting with the way the creators/writers had the characters and storyline interact. I was hooked from the first episode. It is a shame it has ended however, we all are left with some good memories and I did like the way the last episode brought everything together and good endings for all.
But it still sucks that it is no longer going to be on..

I just wish it could go on for a few more seasons but i guess all good things come to an end some time…and that time is now.

Man, i cant believe the show is done. I remember i started watching the first show when i was in 11th grade. It was nothing id ever seen before. I never really got into shows but this one was crazy cool. Its the end of an era, especially for those who have been there since day one. WATCH THE DVD’s Folks, it will cure all lol.

Wow, I can’t believe the show is done for good. This had to have been the best show ever. I remember first watching it in Season 2. My first episode seeing was when Marissa & Alex “hooked up.” That was pretty weird. Then I saw when Marissa was attacked by Ryan’s brother, Trey, & then when Trey was shot. I thought this was show was awsome! So then I watched all of Season 3. I also got Season 1 on DVD to keep up with the 411. My favorite episode had to have been when Seth & Summer hooked up in Season 1, & when Ryan & Marissa finally shared “the night” together in Season 3. I have to admit that I cried when Marissa died, & for the Series Finale. It was just sad knowing that it was the last time I would hear the theme song on Thursdays at 9pm. I will truly miss The OC. Even though I have Season 1, 2, & 3 on DVD, & will be getting Season 4 when it comes out, it’s still not the same knowing there will not be anymore new episodes.

anyone else have like an empty feeling in their stomache knowing that there really wont be another new episode. I felt so rushed last night almost unsatisfied. I feel like there is so much missing or like someone was holding down the >> button throughout the show. UGH just going to miss laughing at seth and seeing a somewhat normal family/life take place. I think we can all say that for those who watched the show its like having a small piece of life torn away.
